Chiltern 4'6 Double Bedstead

The Chiltern 4'6 Double Bedstead pairs a tall, slatted headboard with a low footboard, creating a light and airy frame that suits both guest rooms and main bedrooms. Its white painted finish is lifted by limed oak top rails for a gentle two-tone look.

Sturdy square legs and a simple, Shaker-inspired outline give it a timeless feel. It takes a standard UK double mattress (135 x 190cm) and pairs beautifully with the Chiltern bedside tables and chests.

Overall, the bedstead measures 149cm wide, 215cm long and 100cm high at the headboard, giving a well-proportioned frame that suits both smaller main bedrooms and guest rooms. The slatted headboard gives you something to lean against when reading in bed, while the low footboard keeps the room feeling open.

Made from pine and oak with a soft white painted finish, it brings the relaxed, timeless character of the Chiltern range to the bedroom. Add a pair of Chiltern 2 Drawer Bedside Tables and the matching tallboy or wide chest for a coordinated look, then dress it with natural linens and textured throws.
