Wooden and oak dining chairs
Solid oak dining chairs, like our Tetbury range, are hard-wearing and easy to care for. Choose a natural oak finish or a painted frame, with a wooden or fabric seat.

Dining chair buying guide
Upholstered and leather dining chairs
An upholstered dining chair adds softness and colour, from mushroom and beige to navy and dark green. Some, like the Parma, have pocket-sprung seats for extra comfort. Leather dining chairs wipe clean and soften with age.

Dining chairs with arms
Carver chairs with arms work well at the head of the table or for anyone who likes extra support getting up. Mix them with matching side chairs for a considered look.

How many dining chairs fit my table?
Allow around 60cm of table length per chair: a 120cm table seats four and a 180cm table seats six. Many Woods dining chairs come in sets of two, so you can build a set of four, six or eight.

Are your dining chairs sold individually or in pairs?
Many Woods dining chairs are sold as a set of 2 and some are sold singly. Each product title says which, for example "(Set of 2)".
How much is delivery on dining chairs?
Woods Furniture charges £19.99 per dining chair for delivery to UK mainland, with total delivery capped at £99.99 per order. Collection from our Crewkerne warehouse is free.
Can I see the chairs before I buy?
Yes. Woods has stores on High East Street and at Brewery Square in Dorchester, and at Castlepoint in Bournemouth. Displays vary by store, so call ahead to check a chair is on show, or ask for a video call with our team.
How do I care for upholstered dining chairs?
Vacuum upholstered dining chairs regularly and blot spills straight away rather than rubbing. The Woods furniture care guide has advice for fabric, leather and wood.
